Save an available public Facebook video

Facebook visibility settings decide whether a video can be checked without an account. APNIX only processes a public link and does not join groups or sign in to profiles.

When the source provides more than one public format, APNIX can show an available result. Private-group and friends-only videos remain unavailable.

Supported link and format notes

A supported public video or Reel may be available as MP4. Quality depends on what Facebook exposes for that specific public post.

  • Use the post Share action and copy its full Facebook or fb.watch URL.
  • Make sure the post is public and still available.
  • Private groups, restricted profiles, deleted posts and protected streams are not supported.

How to download in 3 steps

  1. Copy a public Facebook link.
  2. Paste it above, select video or audio, then tap Download.
  3. Tap the ready file's Download file button. Your browser may ask where to save it. If the platform blocks server verification, the optional Android app action can open the same link.

Website and Android app

Direct media files can be saved in the browser. Social platforms sometimes challenge datacenter requests; the APNIX Android app can try processing on the phone instead.

Responsible use

Use this facebook downloader only for your own uploads, public-domain media, Creative Commons content when its licence permits saving, or files you have explicit permission to keep. APNIX does not bypass accounts, paywalls or DRM.

Facebook downloader FAQ

Can APNIX save a Facebook Reel?

A supported public Reel can be processed when the source exposes a media file and you have permission to save it.

Why does a Facebook link say login is required?

The post may be private, audience-restricted or unavailable to visitors who are not signed in. APNIX does not bypass that restriction.

Are pasted Facebook links stored?

The current service does not maintain a personal download-history database. Standard short-lived security logs may still record request metadata.
